We believe in the Biblical example of church leadership whereby godly men who meet specific qualifications as described in 1 Timothy 3:8-13 and Acts 6:1-7 act as workers over various ministries within the local congregation. The title "deacon" simply means "servant." These men have dedicated themselves to the service of the church in various capacities.

Acts 6:2-3- "And the twelve [apostles] summoned the full number of the disciples and said, “It is not right that we should give up preaching the word of God to serve tables. Therefore, brothers, pick out from among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint to this duty." (ESV)
